SHIPBUILDING PROGRAM
Meadway Shipping and Trading has a long history of New Building activity in
China.

The Company was the first to invest in the newly formed Yangzhou
Dayang Shipyard of the Sinopacific Group in 2003, and under an excellent
co-operation Meadway took first delivery of supramax Vessels of 53.500dwt in the mid of
2005. Since then 10 vessels were ordered and delivered by the shipyard.

Furthermore, Meadway has also ventured into a big New Building order with one of
the leading Shipyards in China, Qingshan S/Y, with orders of New Building supramax
Dolphin-type Vessels of 57.000dwt.

Finally, Meadway and SSD design team have developed a new design of handysize
Vessel that is the breakthrough of modern ship design of this type. This handysize
bulker is of 33.400dwt, double-hull open hatch with a draft of only 9.6meters, making
it the most versatile handysize in the market. The Vessel is approved by Bureau
Veritas Classification Society and the first Vessel will be delivered in 2010 from
Daoda Heavy Industry Co. Ltd.
Meadway China Office
Meadway has created a tradition of quality Shipbuilding in China based on
the fundamentals of professionalism, hard work and team spirit. The Company
employs more than 20 personnel in China who are situated in the three
Shipyards (Yangzhou Dayang, Qingshan and Daoda).
